like sands through the hourglass

ahh, i love spring break. i get to stay up late watching movies on my laptop, sleep in, and spend the late morning sitting on the porch enjoying the beautiful weather, and doing some homework. i've been working on my family assessment project, and as i sit infront of the boob tube watching days, i'm struck by how much my family resembles a soap opera at times. i suppose that's the way it's supposed to be. the more people i meet, the more convinced i am that nobody escapes some form of family dysfunction. sometimes family dysfunction is the only thing people have in common. i say embrace the dysfunction! and be glad you're not really in a soap opera. i mean, at least we're not stuck on some island with a force field around it while our friends and family believe we're dead. or are we???

tv quote of the day:
"take her love for granted, and you can be sorry for the rest of your life."--beau from days of our lives
